Very much like my Santokus, this forged chefs knife is made to be an all rounder in the kitchen. Chopping, slicing, dicing, meats, vegetables, this knife will handle it.
Construction: The blade is 3mm thick 1084 high carbon steel with an as forged finish. The edge length (in a straight line from heel to tip) is 200mm and the blade height is 46mm. The handle length is 115mm and is African Blackwood with copper spacers.
Please Note: all of my knives are made with high carbon steels and are not corrosion resistant like stainless is. While both high carbon and stainless have their pros and cons, high carbon knives do require more care.
