This is a general purpose outdoor/hunting knife which can be used for processing large animals, clearing paths, light outdoor craftwork etc.
Construction: The blade is 1084 high carbon steel with a forged scale finish, a false edge, and an integral guard. It also has a recurve edge allowing for more of a pulling/dragging motion to cut. The handle is Tas Oak and Beech with vulcanised fibre liners and stainless steel pins, finished with Danish oil. The handle on this is slightly thinner than the alternate version and is better suited for small – medium hands. Total knife length is 310mm while the blade is 185mm with a max height (excluding integral guard) of 37mm and thickness of 3mm. The sheath is also handmade, using 3mm thick vegetable tanned leather.
