This is a general purpose outdoor/hunting knife which can be used for processing large animals, clearing paths, light outdoor craftwork etc.
Construction: The blade is 1084 high carbon steel with a forged scale finish, a false edge, and an integral guard. It also has a recurve edge allowing for more of a pulling/dragging motion to cut. The handle is Beech and Ebony with brass liners and pins, finished with Danish oil. Total knife length is 310mm while the blade is 185mm with a max height (excluding integral guard) of 37mm and thickness of 3mm. The sheath is also handmade, using 3mm thick vegetable tanned leather.
Please Note: There is a small mark on the blade, shown in image 5. Not really sure what it’s from unfortunately.
